Dove World Outreach Center, a nondenominational church in the city of Gainesville Florida, has called for an ‘International Burn a Koran Day on 11 September.’ This has already prompted protests in Afghanistan and other Middle Eastern nations. If the Florida church goes through with the Koran burning it is likely that we could see the same type of violent reaction that was witnessed when cartoons lampooning the Muslim prophet Muhammad were released in a Dutch newspaper a few years back. In New York City the now familiar remembrance ceremony will be held, but protests are expected by those who oppose the building of the Cordoba cultural center and Mosque near the ground zero site. Counter protests by the Cordoba center’s supporters have been planned as well. We must be vigilant during this chaos as terrorists like to launch attacks on symbolic dates such as the successful attacks on September 11, 2001. The FBI has already released a statement warning about the possibility of retaliation.

What really concerns me is that the terrorist extremists would like nothing better that to make this a religious war. The fact that this dumb so called Christian Pastor, Who is nothing more than a homegrown terrorist extremist (Racist). That is one thing I learned about recently that the faction in Christianity can be dangerous, well first hand now. For the terrorist they will keep using this. A Holy War is what they really wanted. I am so proud of the way All of the religious groups stood against this. But I am afraid the damage is done. There will be retaliation if the Mosque is moved.
Sigh, fortunately it got called off. Who in their right mind, and most especially a man who works in a supposed environment of unconditional empathy and compassion would think that burning someone’s religious book a good idea?! It’s just stunningly dumbfounding.
Mr Tucker, First I thank you for the webinar, I got a lot from that. I do not think this Pastor Jones thing is over. He spent a lot of his time in Germany just before all this. It is a strong recruiting ground and I think they got to him, offered him a lot of money. And sent him back here on a mission, which he has been very successful in completing. He has done all the damage and not even burned a Koran. Plus to put it back on the terrorist as another of their plots. He should at least be investigated for this as. Do You Get My Drift.
I understand the pastors sentiment about burning the Quran. Nevertheless he is not handling the subject of Islam and the Quran in an intelligent way. As a pastor what he should do is show the ways that the teaching of the Quran are in contrast to the Bible and are thus false docterines and he should also analyzs to show the many cotratictions and anachronisms in the Quran. Other Christian writers have done that. Is he not also intelligent enough to do that also? Maybe he’s not. Anyway for Christians to burn the Quran is to sink to the low level of the Muslins that burn the Bible, Christians should above that.
