Engineer Convicted of Selling Secrets to China

An engineer who was instrumental in the design of stealth technologies for the B-2 bomber was found guilty of selling US defense secrets to China. The engineer, Noshir Gowadia, was convicted on five counts following a trial in a federal court in Hawaii. When the investigation into Gowadia began some years ago one of the FBI agents working the case stated that the engineer made at least 750,000 dollars by selling defense secrets; however the amount is likely higher as Gowadia has multiple offshore bank accounts.

Upcoming Webcast on Chinese Intelligence

On July 31, a tax office of the Chinese government in Hunan province was attacked by a lone individual killing 4 and wounding a further 19. This is just the latest in a string of small scale attacks levied against the Chinese government by a frustrated individual. In the last few months China has witnessed random acts of violence on ever increasing scales and protests at foreign owned factories over low pay.
