China Reveals “Ace” Weapon

In a Chinese article entitled, “Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs Are China’s Ace,” Lou Xiaoqing describes the PLA’s preferred method of disabling the US military, Taiwan and potentially Pacific ally cities.

The Washington Times reported the Chinese were building an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) and High-Powered Microwave (HPM) weapons in July of 2011.

China yet to clarify new sea rules — DFA

China has yet to clarify the scope and limitations of a new rule that will allow the boarding and seizing of foreign ships that will pass through the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea), the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Wednesday.

“We have not yet received any clarification from China on the reported Hainan law,” Raul Hernandez, Foreign Affairs spokesman, said.
